  • Economic and Monetary Integration of Central African Countries: The Case of the CEMAC Zone

 Abstract

In this study, I examine the economic and monetary integration of Central African countries by questioning the applicability of the initial theory of Optimal Currency Areas (OCA) in the African context. To this end, I analyze the synchronization of business cycles in the region, considered as an essential condition for ensuring the viability of this union.

Abstract
This work aims at elaborating a possibilistic model to explore adaptation pathways of littoral territories facing erosion and marine submersion risks. This model should allow to formalize acceptability factors and governance conditions that rule both leeway to manoeuvre and levers of politics concerning the topic of transition. This research was conducted on the pilote site of Thau basin, in Southwest of France’s coastal area.
